Philosophy
Our approach is simple:
1.Since the drug markets provoke much of the crime, violent, petty and other, clearing out one cleans up the other.
2.Disrupt existing drug outdoor markets by making the locations inconvenient and unprofitable using tactics such as cameras, lighting, fencing, and neighborhood walks. More than targeting the dealers, we are looking for ways to discourage the buyers.
3.Remove the indoor markets (crucial in winter) and business infrastructure (storage for drugs and guns, warm prostitution spots, stolen good delivery, storage and fencing locations, employee warming centers, etc….) by forcing bad landlords to shape up or ship out.
These tactics take time, organization, persistence and focus. But they also work.
